What is love?
Love is not just a feeling associated with a certain person that arises in us, animates us, makes us happy and infinitely kind: it is rather like ordinary sexual attraction, after which we simply make grandiose plans to exploit our object of adoration for our own pleasure , which is simple selfishness, not love; and it would seem that this boundless happiness, which should last forever, for some reason always leaves us somewhere and lasts, as a rule, not for long, which in the end or most often turns into grief for us and only further distorts our the ability to truly love.
