This is exactly what a chic institution called Garden Hotpot in China is. What is the originality? This restaurant is located right in the middle of a eucalyptus forest next to a lotus pond. In general, all this is very unusual and very attractive. Incidentally, the project was designed by the architects to have minimal impact on the local landscape and ecology. "The natural landscape of the site is beautiful but complex," was the verdict. The designers said, "The terrain is winding, with a two-meter drop, which is lined with magnificent eucalyptus trees. Here you will only see thin steel columns with decking at the bottom and a roof on top. The structure fits tightly against the banks of the pond, increasing and decreasing in width in response to the landscape and nearby trees to "blur the boundary" between the building and nature. In addition to providing seating for diners, a low wooden balustrade runs around the perimeter of the restaurant, forming a viewing path. Guests of the establishment can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. "Thin columns are evenly distributed on both sides, and the loose curve of the roof forms several transparent viewing frames. So as you walk around the restaurant while choosing a seat, you can appreciate the different views," says the venue's management. The Garden Hotpot platform was built using rust-resistant wood, and thin steel columns support a galvanized steel roof raised three meters above the ground.
