The nearest such event to be held in Las Vegas is called "When We Were Young", a music festival scheduled in Winchester, Nevada, at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on October 23 and 29, 2023. The event was first announced on January 18, 2022, and the one-day event will take place on October 22, 2023. Tickets are already sold out, which led to the addition of the second and third concerts on October 23 and 29, 2023. On October 11, 2022, the festival announced that it was returning for a second year in 2023 with Blink-182 and Green Day as headliners. Matt Skiba from Alkaline Trio claims that the line-up of the festival participants was announced before the registration of the bands, but all the bands would have agreed to perform.
