Should a programmer be fluent in mathematics or is this not necessary? Many beginners who want to start learning programming are scared by this question. If you try to go to any educational platform, choose some programming course and ask the question - will I need mathematics?, then most likely they will assure you that you can become a programmer without it. This is partly true, but managers selling programming courses are still a little disingenuous. If a person plans to become a good programmer, then he simply must know mathematics as part of a school-university course.
